The AFGE Local 3313 Union President strongly discourages paid membership for Bargaining Unit Employees currently serving a probationary/trial period.  It is your right to join, but the current employment situation is so volatile and our capacity to support you in terms of due process remains negligible. The Union will fight for the rights of all employees regardless of membership status. However, probationary employees have limited recourse to include responding to an action based on discrimination. Probationary employees should not complete the E-Dues procedure and should contact their Modal Vice President with any questions.
